Finally Getting On With It

It took me a while but I finally started to get on with this blog. The layout is a bit rough at the moment, I used the previous template from my personal blog for it, to get it looking less blogspotty. It'll do, unless someone volunteers to give it a free makeover!

The purpose of this blog is to advertise sales, events and projects relating to our members, and to promote giveaways and to show and participate in challenges amongst ourselves. Anyone is free to join us in the team, just see the Team Application page along the bar above for rules and how to apply.

All readers - be they team members or not - are free to submit their own craft tutorials to be posted here. They can be made specially for the blog, or can be donated, either by donating the entire tutorial, or a picture of the finished piece to link to the original tutorial on their own page. It's all about the content! All content donations are appreciated

Welcome to the Ballyhoo Blog!

This is the official blog for the Etsian Ballyhoo Etsy Team! The team, though small, is devoted to expanding the reach of our team members' shops through promoting eachother in the form of small advertising space on our personal blogs, interviews, features, and giveaways. Some of the team content that gets posted on the Captain's personal blog will also be shared here, along with giveaways that anyone can enter, be they part of the team or not, coupon codes, and sale announcements!

Anyone can join the team, but they must be aware of some rules beforeso:
We will not tolerate harrassment, abuse, or any negative behaviour. Anyone who does any of these will be booted.
There is a roll call on the Team Discussion board every month from the 1st to the 7th, and any who don't respond to two consecutive roll calls will be removed.
We want an active and friendly team, and we don't believe in helping people out who won't help others out in return. While members are under no obligation to feature eachother in treasuries or their own personal pages, it goes without saying that it's both helpful and kind to do so, especially if someone has been kind enough to include them.

To join, see the team page and apply. The captain will send you a convo to make sure that the rules are understood, and upon your response, your application will be approved (or denied, if the case may be). You will also be given the password to the members-only section of the site, which will offer special discounts to select shops within the team, freebies, challenges with prizes, giveaways and other fun activities, though these will depend on whether members are willing to put them together or not.
