My jewelry making experience started with selecting a crucifix and rosary center as souvenirs on a family trip to Italy. During an afternoon at the local bead store I selected the beads I wanted and my dad's tool box lent me the pliers I needed. I hand made two rosaries and realized the same technique could be used to craft a necklace, which I promptly created. Since then, I learned many new techniques and experimented with colors, materials, and designs for my own jewelry wardrobe. And now, 6 years later, I am setting out to create my own brand and share my designs and experiences.

Founded in 2011, the name “Anna Delores” comes from my maternal great-grandmother (Anna) and paternal grandmother (Delores); I thought it appropriate to pair my passion for antique, vintage-style photos and ephemera with a name for my photography venture that honored my own heritage. I live in east Los Angeles, California with my boyfriend and our two dogs. When I'm not snapping photos, I'm hard at work at my day job at an architecture school in downtown L.A., or I'm redecorating our home, watching T.V., or napping!

I'm 21 years old, I live in England and I am my mother's carer while my dad works full time. She suffers from Multiple Sclerosis and is wheelchair-bound, so my task is to help her when she needs help, and keep her company. I run my shops mostly by myself, but my boyfriend, Seeg, helps me with customer service, and keeps me down to earth when people make ridiculous requests that, if I were on my own, I would foolishly try to fill with no chance of meeting any deadline or expectations. I make unique and whimsical jewellery, and simple hand-stamped stationery, to make a little money, but my true passion lies in fantasy writing.
