Team Application

Anyone can apply to join the Etsian Ballyhoo team, but there are a few rules:

1. There will be a thread called Roll Call submitted by myself or another leader on the very first day of each month, and will be open for responses for 7 days, then locked. If you fail to respond to 2 consecutive roll calls without notifying the caller beforehand (or after with your reason for missing), you will be removed from the team. We'd like people to contribute and to really be a part of this, and responding to the roll call is simply a matter of leaving a comment on the thread.
2. There is a monthly team feature on the captain's personal blog where 6 to 8 members will be picked at random to be featured (people are able to be featured multiple times, but different listings will be chosen).
3. By joining the team, you are giving myself and the other team leaders permission to post your listings on our own websites in our team features. You will of course be notified if you have been featured, and all images will be linked back to the original listings, and credit will not be taken for ourselves. However, we -really- want other members to feature eachother from time to time (though if you are not a leader you will have to contect the sellers first) to help eachother out (that's the point of the team, afterall). It might sound a little untrustworthy, because that's how it sounds when I read it myself, but it truly isn't.
4. Feel free to open a new thread for general discussions, for help, or if you're looking for someone to donate to a giveaway you wish to host.
5. You will, of course, have to own an Etsy shop.

No one who joins this team -has- to do anything to remain a part of this team -except- respond to the roll call, but please do consider helping everyone else out!
Also, as part of the team, I, the captain will gladly help team members make shop buttons for blogs to display, or shop banners. Drop me a line through Etsy for more info!

Being part of the team enables to participate in, and start, Challenges.
While it is not necessary to  heavily participate in the Team, with this blog there is a whole new way for you to get involved. If you're inactive in the team's forum, but you post guest features/posts, donate to giveaways, create or participate in Challenges, create or donate your own craft tutorials, then you could be on your way to being promoted to Leader. Certain Leaders (depending on the reasons for their promotions) will be able to edit this blog through posts, make overs, anything they wish within reason.

To join the team, go to the team's Etsy page and click "apply" on the left hand side.
I will get back to you asap.
